A Bit About Me

my name is alaysia---pronounced uh-lay-zhuh or ə/leɪ/ʒə for the IPA-ers. I'm a small business owner and a visual designer, production coordinator, and marketer with several years of experience in design, project management, event, and film production. My workflow is similar to that of a start up since I wear many hats, and my expertise includes advocating for diversity and accessibility, collaboration, creating solutions, and designing.

I've always been a curious and inquisitive person when it comes to creativity and my background has proven that. I've studied vocal performance for 14+ years, worked as a film production freelancer for 8+ years, have been writing and navigating publishing for 10+ years, and visual designing for 8+ years.

Currently, I am looking for opportunities to collaborate with a larger team and create big impact. I've found that innovation occurs when collaborating with others whose perspectives and experiences differ and overlap with mine.
